Senior Solicitor Position
Peel Community Legal Services is looking for an experienced Senior Solicitor to join its team.
SENIOR SOLICITOR Fixed Term Contract to 30th June 2022 with the possibility of ongoing employment subject to funding. Up to 50 hours per fortnight This role will be rostered 4 evenings a week (4pm until 8pm) and Saturday (9am until 1pm) Salary will be negotiable reflecting skill and experience.
To provide generalist legal advice to clients in Mandurah and the broader Peel Region
To provide casework to specific clients as identified by the organisation’s strategic priorities and as resources allow
To provide appropriate referrals
To provide supervision to volunteers and students
To partner in the development and delivery of PCLS’s community legal education and training initiatives
To work as part of the PCLS team to achieve the aims and purposes of the organisation
